He has held several functional roles in sales, marketing, communication, planning, and strategy in media, FMCG, IT, logistics, and social development sectors by serving with high profile private and public sector organizations, as well as projects and programs funded by multilateral and bilateral donor agencies.

Bilal Zafar holds degrees in Public Administration and International Relations as well as specialized training in Social Enterprise Management being a fellow of SEDC-LUMS and McGill University Canada.
